The artist's new media work is a unique hybrid of traditional oil painting and modern digital media. The artwork is a combination of an oil montage painting and a series of drawings projected onto the painting by a digital projector.

The working procedure is similar to the montage process. In addition to creating the montage painting in her studio, the artist creates a series of forty or more portrait drawings in colored pen on Mylar; the drawings are based on photographs of the same portrait subjects as the montage painting.The artist then scans the drawings and creates a slideshow and animated digital projection in a movie-making software.

The projection art is designed to land exactly on the painting, creating a hybrid of traditional painting and modern digital media. The installation requires the purchase of a digital projector which is professionally installed on the ceiling and adjusted to project onto the painting.
